The D-232 was engineered with Steingraeber's new capo d’astro bar covering 46 notes and is the only one of its kind in the world. The D-232 has a very wide dynamic range for the softest to the most energetic of playing. Steingraeber's Renner action is designed to Steingraeber's specifications for ultimate sensitivity and power which is why some of the top pianists in the world prefer playing this instrument—or other Steingraeber models—over it's competitors. This model has the Mozart Rail which allows for instant change of key dip and blow distance. Play at 8mm like Mozart instruments and change all the way up to 10.2.
